Tickets to watch the sunset at the Edge

When planning your sunset visit to The Edge, you have three ticket options: Standard Admission, Flexible Passes, and Express Passes.

The Standard Admission ticket is the most budget-friendly, but it locks you into a specific entry time, only lets you skip one of the three queues before getting to the deck, and costs more during sunset hours.

If you prefer more flexibility, the Flexible Pass allows you to visit at any time during the day. For the ultimate convenience, the Express Pass allows you to skip all lines and head straight to the observation deck to watch the sunset.

Since sunset is the busiest time at The Edge, we recommend the Express Pass. It guarantees priority escorted entry, helping you bypass the crowds and catch the sunset without the hassle of waiting.

Note: City Climb is an adrenaline-pumping experience that takes you above The Edge. It requires a separate ticket and is not included with general admission or the Express Pass.

Why Sunset is the Best Time to Visit

Sunset is the ideal time to visit The Edge, as the city looks its most stunning when bathed in warm, fiery hues.

The vibrant colors of the setting sun create a striking contrast against the iconic New York skyline, while the gradual illumination of the city below adds to the magic of the experience.

The combination of natural beauty and city lights makes sunset visits highly popular, so booking your tickets in advance is recommended – especially during winter when the weather can be unpredictable.
